Vegetable oil
Candy eyes (optional)
M&Ms (optional)
Pretzels (optional)
Sprinkles (optional)
Gel food coloring (optional)
Steps
Add milk chocolate chips and vegetable oil to a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the bowl of chocolate and vegetable oil in 30 second intervals, stirring after each time, until the chocolate chips are smooth and melted. Be careful not to over heat the chocolate because they will burn.
Repeat Step 1 to prepare melted white chocolate for decorating.
Add the melted chocolate to the graham crackers by either drizzling chocolate over them or dipping them into the bowl of chocolate.
Add your choice of toppings (sprinkles, candy, pretzels, etc.) to the graham crackers, decorating them with a simple festive pattern, Santa Claus face, or like Rudolph.
Set the decorated graham crackers aside to let them harden.
Serve and enjoy!
How to Make Santa Version:
Add red food coloring to some of the melted white chocolate to use for Santa’s hat.
Dip one corner of the graham cracker in the white chocolate with the food coloring to make a red triangle for Santa’s hat. Then, place a round, white sprinkle to the top of the hat.
Create a V shape at the bottom of the graham cracker by dipping it in the plain white chocolate to make Santa’s beard.
Dip the backs of the two candy eyes and a red M&M in the melted chocolate, then place them in the area between the hat and beard to make a Santa’s face.
How to Make Rudolph Version:
Dip the top half of the graham cracker in the melted milk chocolate.
Attach two pretzels to the top of the graham cracker, placing one on the left and another on the right side of the chocolate-coated section to create reindeer antlers.
Place two candy eyes and a red M&M in the chocolate-coated area of the graham cracker to make Rudolph’s face.
I hope you enjoy this treat as much as I did and have a Happy Holiday season!
