What to Buy at Whole Foods
I love a grocery trip to Whole Foods. However, the store has so many offerings that it can be hard to know where to start. Here’s my shopping list for Whole Foods, covering snacks, produce, sweets, frozen foods, and more!
My Favorite Pantry Items
Skinny Pop Microwave Popcorn in Sea Salt – Although my go-to is stovetop popcorn, I will make microwave popcorn when I’m in a pinch, specifically using Skinny Pop’s microwave packets. If you’re looking for a healthier alternative to traditional microwave popcorn, this microwave popcorn has the closest taste to the original.
LesserEvil Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn - Fellow salt lovers- this popcorn is for you! Having a salty flavor, light crunch, and simple ingredient list, LesserEvil has one of my favorite pre-popped popcorns.
KIND Bars - I’m a fan of pretty much every flavor of this bar. KIND bars are one my favorites because they use whole ingredients like nuts and fruits that are just filling enough. Plus, almost all their bars have chocolate which is perfect for the chocolate lovers out there.
That’s it. Mini Fruit Bars - I love fruit but carrying around fresh fruit isn’t always an option. So, That’s it. bars are perfect for when I’m craving fruit on-the-go.
365 Garbanzo Beans - If you know me, you know I love chickpeas in every form- cooked, as a dip, or even straight from the can. So, almost every grocery trip calls for a restock.
Near East Pearled Couscous - Combined with a protein and vegetable, Couscous creates an easy, balanced meal ideal for busy weeknights.
Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, Unflavored - I’m always trying to increase my protein intake, and one of my favorite ways is adding protein powder to green smoothies. My long-time favorite is Vital Proteins, so it is a staple in my pantry.
RX Bars - These bars are another good source of protein, and they are perfect for eating on-the-go. Plus, they have a simple ingredient list, so you know what you’re eating. I’ve tried a few flavors, but the only one I regularly buy is Chocolate Sea Salt.
My Favorite Refrigerated Items
Driscoll’s Strawberries - I have fruit almost every morning, so I restock each time I grocery shop. I wash and cut my strawberries as soon as I get them, so they’re ready-to-eat when I want them in the morning (and usually rushing out the door).
Driscoll’s Raspberries & Blueberries - There’s an obvious theme here. To be honest, fruit is like half the reason I even go to the grocery. In my opinion, the berries with the most consistent quality are from Driscoll’s, so I usually buy from them.
Califia Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk - To be honest, I’m not partial to almond milk from any one brand. This Califia Farms one is just one I know I like and bought during my most recent Whole Foods trip. When it comes to almond milk, I’ll buy pretty much any unsweetened vanilla one.
Zevia Sweetened Hibiscus Tea in Passionfruit & Black Tea in Raspberry - I’m not picky with tea, so I don’t struggle to find on-the-go options. However, Zevia might just have my favorite refrigerated ones. With zero calories and sugar, they still have a delicious taste with the perfect amount of flavor.
Steaz Organic Green Tea in Raspberry & Half and Half - When it comes to green tea, my favorite refrigerated versions are from Steaz. While Steaz teas taste a little sweeter than Zevia’s, both brands make delicious teas that are calorie-free.
365 Broccoli Florets - I love having broccoli as part of my dinner. It tastes great, goes with pretty much everything, and is easy to prepare. Needless to say, I always like to have broccoli in my fridge.
365 Trimmed Green Beans - Green beans are another vegetable I love to put with dinner. Like broccoli, green beans are versatile and can be easily prepared in no time.
