Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Guide 2023
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! During the annual #NSale event, Nordstrom shoppers can get deals on new items across all departments- clothing, shoes, beauty, home, etc. While some shoppers received early access to the deals staring on July 11th, the general public can shop July 17th (today!) until August 6th. With so many new and highly-coveted items included in the sale, you’ll want to have a shopping game plan. To make the most of the sale, I’ve compiled a list of the items I recommend buying during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale.
FP Movement The Way Home Shorts
I really like these shorts for everyday wear (not so much for exercising), but several less pricey brands have created dupes for these since they came out. Normally, I’d recommend you just buy one of these alternatives; however, at this sale price, the original FP shorts are priced en par with most of the alternatives. So if you have any interest in the originals, now is the best time to buy them.

Nars Afterglow Lip Balm Duo
This set has one of my favorite lip balm formulas in two different shades. I actually bought this set when it was at Sephora a few months back, so I have these two versions. Both the peachy pink and dusty rose shade subtly enhance your appearance as they are sheer in pigment.

Outdoor Voices Cross Back Tennis Minidress
Athletic dresses are all the rage right now, and Outdoor Voices seems to have the leading option. I’ve never bought one, but there must be a reason behind all the attention. If you’ve been wanting your own OV dress, now’s the time to buy as there are two styles participating in the sale.

Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Throw Blanket
Another highly coveted item participating in the sale are the throw blankets from Barefoot Dreams. Their two popular styles, In the Wild and CozyChic, will be available at a discounted price. However, the sale price is still high, so it’s important to note that there are tons of more affordable alternatives available.

UGG Mini Classic Zip Bootie
I know for many, myself included, UGGs are a Fall/Winter wardrobe staple. Since this style is brand new, I can’t recommend these booties specifically. However, I’ve had a few UGG boot styles, and I can confidently say the quality is consistent across the board.

The colder weather may not be here yet but these faux leather leggings are an outfit essential for me during the fall and winter months. By pairing these leggings with a sweater, you can easily create a stylish, comfortable outfit.
Zella Anya Ottoman Full Zip Jacket
One item I feel doesn’t get much attention is from Zella. My Zella medium-sized jacket is a go-to, regardless of the temperature outside. It is comfortable, lightweight, and pairs with any athleisure outfit.

Capri Blue’s Volcano is one of the most talked about candles on the internet. Although I prefer candles with warm scents, I even really enjoy this more summery, citrus scented candle. During the sale, you can get Volcano at a discount in two different signature jars.

Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara Duo
To get long, voluminous, and curled lashes that mimic the appearance of fake lashes, I use the Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara. While some mascaras have come close, I’ve yet to try a mascara with this same effect. Since this mascara individually retails for $33, buying this set gets you two for just a little more than the price of one.

Living Proof Clean Hair Anytime, Anywhere Set
Although it’s pricey, my top favorite dry shampoo is the Living Proof PhD Dry Shampoo. I have a handful of dry shampoos that make my hair look clean but finding one that makes my hair feel clean is another story. Living Proof is the only one that does the trick making it worth the occasional splurge.

Hunter Original Short Back Adjustable Rain Boot
While they aren’t a personal must-have, Hunter boots are popular for a reason. They receive heavy praise for being high quality and comfortable rain boots. Therefore, if you’ve wanted to try Hunter boots and this new style appeals to you, the best time to buy them is now while they’re on sale.
