Kitchen Favorites
By no means would I describe myself as a cook. However, I do make most of my meals at home, meaning I spend a good bit of time in my kitchen. With this in mind, I appreciate kitchen items that make processes easier. I’m also all about having an organized, aesthetically pleasing setup, so any item that helps create this environment in my kitchen becomes an instant favorite.
Below are some of my favorite kitchen items that make cooking and cleaning way more enjoyable!

Ikea Legitim Cutting Board
I rarely make something that doesn’t require a cutting board making them a kitchen must-have. Ikea has one of my favorites because it is durable, lightweight, and has a clean look.

It is important to me to have an organized kitchen. For organizing my cabinets, lazy susans help make it where everything has a place. This 2 piece set from Amazon is a great deal, especially if you’re buying several to fill your cabinets.
Frywall Splatter Guard (Medium)
One of my favorite ways to cook veggies and protein is sautéing them in a pan. The drawback with this method was the inevitable mess that results from cooking on the stove with a pan. However, the Frywall is a handy invention that blocks splatter and prevents spillover created in the process, eliminating virtually all the messiness.
Hover Cover Magnetic Microwave Cover
To minimize messiness further, this microwave splatter cover keeps your microwave clean by trapping any splatter. Once you’re done heating your food, you can clean any mess off the cover by placing it in the dishwasher- in my opinion, a way easier clean-up than wiping down the entire microwave.
Keurig K-Classic Coffee Maker
Everyone has different coffee preferences. Depending on what you prefer, my coffee maker recommendation may or may not be the best option. As a coffee drinker, I’m not a fan of many fix-ins like foam, syrups, and creamer. A machine with lots of bells and whistles isn’t important to me. I really only need a coffee maker that makes good tasting black coffee, and Keurig’s classic coffee maker does exactly that.
